Redstart provides land remediation services to the construction industry. As a result, there is often an overlap between our services and those traditionally provided by a groundworker.
We will collaborate with you to ensure a seamless transition from enabling works completion to commencement of construction and where required, we will undertake civil works to ensure the project remains on schedule.
We will help your project progress safely. We can complete physical inspection pits onsite to ahead of civils works to determine service locations ahead of diversion works and manage service tracing work such as camera surveys, scanning or dye tracing.
Redstart provides preparatory works for civils road & sewer construction. Identified Soil contamination will be managed by either treatment and re-use or disposal, and the road box will be re-engineered to your exact specification. We will install roads and sewers as required to your design.
We undertake various ground engineering works
We can manage soft ground and prepare stabilised platforms ready for commencement of civil engineering work, piling and construction. We have a range of available techniques to meet your requirements, programme and budget including soil mixing, lime and/or cement treatment, Dynamic compaction and surcharging.
We can undertake civil engineering works and prepare ground for a range of foundations and install retaining structures from reinforced earth slopes to gabion baskets. Where a temporary construction platform (e.g., a pile mat) is required, we can design this in-house and construct on site in a sustainable way.
Our consultants will undertake BRE soak away tests and we can construct drainage attenuation.
We can also undertake land quality risk assessments for new potable water pipe installation.
